                                                                    PORTFOLIO ANALYSIS 1. Video #1: a. Travis Haughton b. The general focus was on sports and kids c. Three problems they noticed was you couldn't tell what was going on- no story, the frame was too tight, and the quality wasn't good in some of them d. The judges liked the lighting and the different types of sports they had e. My overall impression of the photographer was that he has good quality pictures, but most of them don't tell a story or he is too close to the subject. I liked the photo of the gymnastics, because you could see the environment of it. I didn't like the one of the guy walking up the stairs, because it was random Video #2: a. Nick Adams b.                                                                   HDR PHOTOGRAPHY 1. What manipulations to the camera will you need to make to create an HDR image? you will need to manually adjust the exposure in each shot 2. What equipment will we use to take this type of image? blending/ merger app and tripod are needed to take this type of image 3. What is the reason someone might take an HDR image? to have an extra creative photo, or they can't figure out a good exposure 4. What can we expect to happen with the images once we merge them together, what will we see that          we  might not have seen with just one photo? Extra movement might be seen fro merging photos like clouds or cars or birds that are present in some shots, but not in others.

1. Is there something you see in the photo above that you think could be a problem when you take your photos? Look carefully. yes, the last girl (same girl but last picture she took) does not have the same shadow as the rest of the girls 2. Where do you think would be a great place to take this type of picture here on the Bowie campus? I would merge photos from an open area with flat land with maybe one subject like a building or person 3. Can you think of something creative to actually DO in the photo when you take yours? I would merge a bunch of pictures of me standing in the exact same pose in front of a sunset, either the same day, or same time every day for a week or 5 days. 4. Is there something you could wear that would help you when you do this photo? I would wear different bright colors every day so i could get a cool effect when blended, like primary colors like blue and red to get purple.
