 A selfie is a picture of you that is taken by yourself that is informal. They are usually taken by phones. A self portrait is more formal than a selfie. It is usually taken with an actual camera, and are put on timers, whereas selfies don't usually use timers. Selfies also usually use the front camera and cameras the opposite. It is easy to recognize a selfie from a portrait  I prefer selfies to self portraits because they are easier to take in my opinion. They also truly express  yourself without trying. While taking self portraits you have to put in a lot of time and effort. I also  like selfies because they are not really planned, and they are fun and can be informal- which I like.      I think self portraits are more valuable than selfies because they can express much deeper emotions than selfies can. I really liked this picture because it showed diversity in the military and showed many women going onto higher ranks for the first time. I also think the exposure, lighting, and angle this picture was taken at is perfect. I like this picture because it's really funny from 2017 and the people who did this were really smart and creative. I think the photographer could have improved on the angle of the picture though because the letters aren't even at all.   I really love this picture because i think everything is perfect. the timing is perfect, the angle, the exposure, and the colors. its really pretty and cool and i love this picture.
